This is an accelerated beginner's course in Astrology enabling you to read your own chart.

Everybody knows speaking a second language is a great and useful skill. By learning the basic language of astrology you will be able to read your own chart, allowing you to understand the deeper meaning of your life, help you navigate uncharted waters, weather unexpected storms, as well as get the most out of the sunshine in your chart.

This fun and interactive accelerated beginner’s course in astrology is presented by Dawn Silver, full time astrologer and author who has studied astrology since 1977. She will provide you with all the tools necessary to understand your chart and the charts of your friends and family. By the end of this class you will be able to read your chart and also speak basic astrology.

This class is all about you! Working with your personal chart, you will learn the twelve house system, how it applies directly to your life (environment), the planets in each of your houses, what they mean, and the meaning of the twelve signs of the zodiac.

We will also learn the major astrological aspects (conjunction, sextile, trine, square, and opposition) and how to locate them in your chart. 

About Dawn Silver:

Dawn Silver is the author of The Jewels of the Lotus Tibetan Gemstone Oracle and recipient of the Coalition of Visionary Retailers award. She has been featured in magazines, appeared on radio, cable, and television broadcasts, participated in numerous holistic expos, taught workshops both locally and internationally, and was a featured speaker at the Midwest Crystal Conference in 2007, returning in 2009.

Dawn is also a licensed Naprapath, Astrologer, Aromatherapist, and Mari-El practitioner. She has practiced crystal healing since 1985. Her work evolved into The Jewels of the Lotus Crystal Healing Series, which she teaches nationally and internationally. The Jewels is a certification program which includes a unique approach based on her research. She incorporates the tangible, physical sciences as a bridge to the spiritual, metaphysical sciences.

Dawn also founded and operated for 19 years Chicago's Healing Earth Resources, a metaphysical bookstore, organic cafe, and healing center.
