Lisa Marie Basile, author of Light Magic for Dark Times, will discuss the need for ritual and self-care in the modern age. Modern magic makers often have to balance work, creative projects, relationships and their own personal needs. In this workshop, participants will identify three easy-to-do, deeply impacting acts of physical, mental, and creative self-care, which can be built into everyday rituals.
This workshop will begin with a guided meditation, and then the group will delve, together, into a discussion of self-care needs and the way that may intersect with magical practice. The group will come away with tangible and specific ways to tie self-care into moon work, shadow work, and altar-building.
