EVP's - Electronic Voice Phenomenon: The Voices of the Dead Cancelled

Ron Kolek, Steven Parsons

Join us for this special presentation on EVP’s – Electronic Voice Phenomenon (The Voices of the Dead). We are very excited to welcome back U.K. Parapsychologist Steve Parsons who, along with Ron Kolek from the New England Ghost Project, will present a unique insight into EVP’s

Electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) is the occurrence of voices, utterances, raps and taps that appear on audio recording devices without the operator being aware of them at the time the recording was taking place.

Early encounters with spirit voices tended to be almost accidental as was the case with Jürgenson and Carrington. The voices appeared spontaneously, often seemingly interacting with or trying to respond the conversations of the living. Researchers quickly discovered that they could obtain responses to questions they asked.

The simplest method for conducting EVP experiments is to simply set up a microphone and a recorder. Some EVP researchers also make recordings at sites of reported hauntings or other paranormal activity.

Join us as we discuss the methods and the options that are available to the modern EVP researcher. From the home researcher to the ghost investigator this will of interest to all those who are interested in electronic communication with the spirits.
