Join us as we navigate these challenging times with self-help tools, exercises and meditations to help reduce your stress and anxiety and boost your resilience. You will develop a deeper understanding of what stress is and how to create new habits to reduce this and discover your hidden strengths. Learn new skills to stay centered, grounded, free of anxiety as you walk away feeling uplifted. This workshop combines the latest in psychology research with spiritual tools to help you balance your body, mind, and soul.
We will begin by learning how current times are impacting our mind and body. Learn what your current stress level is. Once you discover what happens to us under stress, and why we respond the way we do, we will focus on how to reduce our stress. We will learn to develop new habits to boost your resilience. How you respond to stress is a combination of your unique personality and environmental factors. This workshop will help you learn more about yourself and your hidden strengths. You will learn about 15 different stress management techniques as you discover which you prefer. We will try several practices (body scan, mindfulness, guided imagery, self-hypnosis, mantras, qi gong, and energy healing modalities) to see what works best for you.
Finally, we will discuss strategies for keeping your new habits going forward. We will end our time with a short healing circle where we will send love and peace to the world.
Journal and water is recommended. We will take breaks upon request when needed.
