Fear can be destructive to our thinking, physical health, relationships, and at best a distraction from living a life of passion and purpose. It touches nearly every aspect of our existence, driving us to live and behave in ways that do not serve us. Fear can manifest in anger, depression, anxiety, and sadness. It can prevent us from experiencing true intimacy and connection.
In this workshop we are going to learn how to discern the types of fear, understand the effects of fear, and develop techniques for overcoming our fears when appropriate. While not all fear is bad, some fears are debilitating. To make matters worse, we sometimes can be asleep to our fears allowing them to run our lives covertly. Understanding what fear is, when it is serving you and when it isn’t, and learning how to identify and categorize fear is a powerful step towards freedom.
Once we have uncovered these dysfunctional fears, we will explore three distinct exercises that engage the mind, body, and emotions to help one release fears that do not serve us and begin fully engaging in the life that we were created for.
